“Be what you would seem to be - or, if you'd like it put more simply - never imagine yourself not to be otherwise than what it might appear to others that what you were or might have been was not otherwise than what you had been would have appeared to them to be otherwise.”
With an appreciation for all aspects of design, performance, and art (assuming of course that they are mutually inclusive) Liz Harvey has spent the last year creating a body of work that is as unpredictable and intriguing as herself. Moving seamlessly from fashion, art, and other forms of expression, Liz Harvey always stays grounded in a sense of warmth, mystery, and freedom.
Liz has appeared in advertisements in nationally printed magazines,
been featured in fine art galleries,
walked dozens of fashion runways,
starred in music videos,
appeared on covers of musical albums,
as well as contributed to many photographer's own personal projects.
Taking on new and exciting challenges, Liz started doing major film work in fall 2011. One of her first projects, 'V/H/S' recently premiered to rave reviews at the 2012 Sundance Film Festival.
Liz Harvey is currently based in downtown Chicago, but is open for traveling for the right projects or opportunities.
